NEWS & EVENTS
Day of Praise
The Day of Praise Event is planned for the Memorial Day weekend at the
Port Leyden Field Days. We hope to have the large 'Big Top' tent, Praise
teams and congregation members from local area churches participating.
Along with the singing, skits, and other stage performances, we are
hoping to have the time at the event filled with fun and games such as
happens at the AWANA Carnival.
The mission of the event is to take Jesus into our community, Plant,
Water, and Harvest any Fruit the Lord gives for increase!
As of yet This entire event is an unshaped mass of possibility! It can be
shaped in any way you would like. Have an Idea for a game, stand, or
performance? Let me know, This is YOUR ministry.
There is a sign up sheet at the rear of the sanctuary, or you can talk to
me directly. We are in need of stage hands/crew/, sound booth workers,
tract table workers, and more. Lets Win our area back to Christ!!!

June 9 08- The DOP Went great! Over the course of the weekend there
were 4 salvation decisions and hundreds heard the Gospel! Thank you to
everyone who was involved on site, and everyone who supported this
ministry in prayer.

Our Youth Group Xtreme Teens meets on Friday nights twice a month
at the Port Leyden Elementary Gym, and 2ce a month at the Church. 6-

June 9 08 - The AWANA Carnival was Great! 175 Children registered
and were ministered to, And there were a lot of Parents there also!
We praise God for everyone who helped with the carnival, and
everyone who works AWANA. Your ministry is bearing fruit with an

June 9 08 - The Love and respect couples class will be held every
Sunday evening in two parts 5-6pm and 6:30-7:30.
