O magnify the Lord (Jesus) with me (us), and let us exalt His name together.
Psalm 34:3
Our Statement
of Faith

ARTICLE IV -DQCTINAL STATEMENT
A. GOD, We believe there is one and only one, living and true God, holy, infinite, intelligent Spirit, the
Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, and who is worthy of all possible honor, confidence
and love. In the unity of the Godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
equal in every divine perfection, and
executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. (Ex. 20: 2, 3: Mt. 28 19; John
10:30; I Cor. 8:6, E Cor. 4:11)
B.        THE HOLY SPIRIT, We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person who is equal
with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in
creation, that in His relation to the unbelieving world, that he convicts of sin, of
righteousness and of the judgment; that he bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in
preaching and testimony, that He fills, sanctifies, reproves, intercedes, teaches, comforts,
separates, and otherwise helps the believer. (Gen. 1:1-3, John 3:5, John 14:16, 26: 15,
15:26, 16:7-11, 17:17, Acts 5:3-4, 13:2, Rom. 6:6, 8:26,1 Cor. 1:30,6:19, 12:13, Eph.
4:30, 5:18,1 Thess. 4: 30, 5:23, II Thess. 2:7, Titus 3:5, Heb. 9:14, IPeter 1:2)
We believe that since the completions of the New Testament Canon, certain apostolic gifts for the early
church, have served their purpose; that the present emphasis of the church is in the enhancement of
God-Creator-bestowed natural gifts and the manifestation of fruit through study and the control of the
Holy Spirit. (I Cor. 12:13, Eph 2:20, 5:18, Prov. 11:30, Gal. 5:22-23, H Tim. 2:15)
C.        THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
1.         VIRGIN BIRTH. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Ghost in a
miraculous manner, born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be
born of woman, and that He is both the Son of God, and God the Son. (Gen 3:15, Isa.
7:14, Matt, 1:18-25, Luke 1:35, John 1:14)
2.         ATONEMENT FOR SIN, We believe that salvation of sinners is wholly of grace,
through the mediation of the Son of God, who by the appointment of the Father, freely
took upon Him the human nature, yet without sin, honored the divine law by his personal
obedience; and by His death and resurrection made a full and substitutional atonement for
our sins; that His atonement consisted not in setting us an example by His death as a
martyr, but was the voluntary substitute of Himself in the sinner's place, the just dying
for the unjust; Christ the Lord, compassionate and all-sufficient Savior. (Isa. 53:4-
7,11,12, Matt. 18:11, John 3:16, 10:18, Acts 15:11, Rom. 3:24, 25,1 Cor. 15: 3,20, H Cor.
5: 21, Eph. 2:8, Phil. 2:7-8, Heb. 2:14, 7:25, 9:12-15, 12:2, IPeter 2:24, 3:18,1 John2:2,
4:10)
3.         RESURRECTION, We believe in the bodily resurrection, ascension, and high
priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Having risen from the dead, He is now enthroned in
Heaven. (Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39, John 16;23, Acts 1:9-11,1 Cor. 15:3,4,1 Tim. 2:5,
Heb. 7:12:2,1 John 2:1)
