O magnify the Lord (Jesus) with me (us), and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:3

4. THE RETURN OF JESUS CHIRST, We believe in the bodily, personal return of
Jesus Christ. That He will come before the seven-year tribulation period, to catch away
His church in the air. Believers who have died will be raised; their bodies will be
changed, and they will be caught up with the transformed living saints. (Acts 1:9-11,
Rom 8: 11,1 Thess. 5: 1-11.4:13-18, H Thess. 2:1-9, Phil. 3:20-21)
We believe that He will come again with all His saints at the close of the seven-year tribulation period to
judge Israel and the Gentiles, and to set up His millennial (1000 year) kingdom on this earth. (Jude
14:15,1 Thess. 3:13, Matt. 25:11, 31-46, Rev. 210:1-6)
D. SALVATION
1. FAITH AND SALVATION. We believe that man was created in the image and
likeness of God, but in Adam's sin the race fell; inherited a sinful nature and became
alienated from God. Man is totally depraved, and of himself, utterly unable to remedy his
lost condition. We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
(Gen 1:26-27, Rom 3: 22-23, 5:12. Eph. 2:1-3, 12, John 1:12, Acts 16:31, Rom. 10:9)
2. GRACE AND THE NEW CRATION We believe that in order to be saved,
sinners must be born again; that the new birth is a new creation in Christ Jesus; that it is
instantaneous and not a process. In the new birth the one dead in trespasses and sin is
made a partaker of the divine nature and receives eternal life, the free gift of God; that the
new creation is brought out in a manner above our comprehension, not by culture, not by
character, nor by truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the gospel; that its
proper evidence appears in the holy fruits of repentance and faith and newness of life.
(John 1:12-13, 3:3, 6-8, Rom. 6:23, Acts 16:30-33, H Cor. 5:17,19, Gal. 5:22,1 John
5:21)
3. JUSTIFICATION We believe that Christ secures justification to those who
believe in Him; (a) that included the pardon of sin, and the gift of eternal life on
principles of righteousness; (b) that it is bestowed not in consideration of any works of
righteousness which we have done; but solely through faith in the Redeemer's blood,
whereby He become our righteousness, and God declares that believer to be righteous
forever. (Isa. 53:11,Hab. 2:4, Zach. 13:1, Acts 13:39, Rom. 1:17, 4:1-8, 5:1, 8:1, Gal.
3:11, Titus 3:5-7, Heb. 10:38,1 Peter 1:18-19)
4. SECURITY OF THE SAINTS We believe that all the redeemed; once saved,
are kept by God's power and are thus in Christ forever. (John 6:37-40, Rom. 8: 38-39,1
Cor. 1:4-8,1 Peter 1:5)
We believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the
testimony of God's Word, which clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an excuse to sin. (Rom
13: 13-14, Gal 5: 13, Titus 2:11-15)
5. CONFESSION AND CHASTENING We believe in the common priesthood of
the believer. We believe that confession to God secures God's forgiveness for sins and
restores the confessor to fellowship and communion with God. We believe failure to
confess known sins incur the chastening hand of God. (Prov. 28:13,1 Cor. 11:28-32, Heb. 12:6-12,
Tim. 2:5,1 John 1:9, 5:16, Rev. 1:5-6)
