6. ETERNAL DESTINY - RIGHTEOUS AND WICKED We believe that there is a distinct difference
between the RIGHTEOUS and the WICKED. That only those who are justified by faith in our Lord Jesus
Christ are sanctified by the Spirit of our God and are also truly righteous in His sight. While all who
continue in unbelief are in His sight, wicked. This distinction applies to persons in the everlasting
joyfulness of the righteous and the everlasting conscious suffering of the wicked. (John 3:36, Rom
6:17-18,Eph. 2: 1-5, Col. 3:1-7, Acts 13:39,Rom 5:1,9,10,1 Cor. 1:2, 6:11, John 3:18, H This. 3:12,1
Thes. 4:13-18, Rev. 14:1, 20:11-15, 22:5, Luke 16:19-31, IIThes. 1:8-9)
E. THE CHURCH
1. We believe that the Church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ,
is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons of this present age.(Eph. 1:22-
23, Eph 5:25-27,1 Cor. 12: 12-14, H Cor. 11:2)
2. We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly
taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures. (Acts 14:27, 20: 17, 28-32,1 Tim 3:
1-13, Titus 1:5-11)
3. We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority or
control. (Acts 13:1-4, 15:19-31, 20:28, Rom 16:1,4,1 Cor. 3:9, 16, 5:4-7,1 Cor. 13:1,1
Peter 5:1-4)
4. We believe in the ordinance of believer's water baptism by immersion and the
Lord's Supper as scriptural means of testimony for the church age. (Matt. 28:19-20, Acts
18:8, Acts 2:41-42,1 Cor. 11:23-26)
5. We believe that the primary purpose of the church meetings is to worship God
and edify believers, (i.e. to build up the body; to imitate Jesus Christ; to grow up into
Him, to bring to spiritual maturity) We believe that this edifying is accomplished
through:
a. The exemplary conduct of the Pastor.
b. The exemplary conduct of the church leaders.
c. The exemplary conduct of the church members.
d. The patient preaching and teaching of the whole Word of God.
e. The mutual efforts of all the members toward one another.
6. We believe that a mature believer will be characterized by a single-minded devotion to God, and
unwavering obedience to His will, a self-sacrificing love for the Body, a steadfast joy and peace in trial
and an animated burden for the lost.
F. CIVIL GOVERNMENTS
We believe that civil governments is of divine appointment, for the interests and good order of human
society; that all government officials are to be the subject of prayer, conscientiously honored and
obeyed except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the only Lord of the
conscious, and the coming Prince of the kings of the earth. (Gen 9:1-6; TJ Sam.23:3, Ps. 72:11, Dan.
3:17, 18, Matt. 10:28, 22:21; 23:10; Acts 4:19, 20, 5:29; 23:5; Rom. 13:7; Phil. 2:10, 11; I Tim. 2:1;
Titus 3:1; Peter 2:13, 14, 17)
