G. SATAN. ANGELS. AND DEMONS
We believe in the reality of angels and demons. We believe in the reality and personality of Satan; that
he is the unholy god of this age and the author of all the powers of darkness and is destined to the
judgment of an eternal fate in the Lake of Fire. (Matt. 7:22; 25:41; I Cor. 4:9; 10:21; H Cor. 4:4; Eph.
2:2; 6:12; Heb. 1:13, 14:1 Peter 5:8; Jude 6; Rev. 12:7; 21:10)
H. FUTURE EVENTS
We believe in the following order of future events:
1 The rapture of believers. (I Cor. 15:51-58; Phil 3:20; I Theses. 4:13-18; I John
3:1-3)
2 The Tribulation. (Matt. 24:21; Rev. 6-1)
3 The return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth with his saints. (Jude 14,15;Rev.
19:11-16)
4 The complete and literal fulfillment of the prophecies and promises of the
Scriptures which foretell and assure the future regeneration and restoration of
Israel as a nation. (Gen.l2:l-3; 15:18-21;17:7,8; Deut. 28-29; Ezek. 37; Luke
l:31;Actsl5:13-18;Rom.ll)
5 The one thousand year millennial kingdom. (Rev. 20:16)
6 Satan's doom.(Rev.20:10)
7 The resurrection and judgment of the wicked dead. (John 5:29; Rev. 20:11-15)
8 The eternal state. (Rev. 21-22)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment
and everlasting punishment. (Matt. 25:46; John 5:28, 29; 11; 25, 26; Rev. 20: 5, 6, 12, 13)
We believe that the souls of the redeemed are, at death, absent from the body and present with the
Lord. Where in conscious bliss they await the first resurrection, when spirit, soul and body are reunited
to be glorified forever with the Lord. (Luke 23:43; Rev. 20:4-6; H Cor. 5:8; Phil. 1: 23; 3:21; I Thess.
4:16, 17)
We believe that the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in conscious misery until the second
resurrection. When with soul and body reunited they shall appear at the Great White Throne
Judgment. They will be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting
conscious punishment. (Luke 16:19-26; Matt. 25: 41-46; II Thess. 1:7-9; Jude 6-7; Mark 9:43-48; Rev.
20:11-15)
